SS Enterprises ("we", "our", "us") operates the SS Staff mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when our employees use the App.
The App is an internal employee management application intended only for employees of SS Enterprises. It is not available for use by the general public.
Employees log in to the App using their registered mobile number and a One-Time Password (OTP). The OTP is sent via SMS and is used only to verify identity at the time of login. We do not store the OTP after the login session is verified.
The App collects GPS location data at the time of attendance marking (check-in/check-out) to verify that the employee is at the designated work location. Location is collected only when the employee actively marks attendance, not in the background at all times.
The App may access the device camera to scan QR codes for attendance or to capture a photo/selfie as proof of attendance. Photos captured are used solely for attendance verification and internal record-keeping.
For payroll processing purposes, the App may store salary-related information and bank account details (such as account number and IFSC code) provided by the employee or entered by the employer's HR/admin team.
We do not sell, rent, or trade employee data to any third party. Information collected is used internally by SS Enterprises for HR and payroll administration only. Data may be shared with:
Employee data is stored on secure servers with restricted access. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (such as encryption and access controls) to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We retain employee data for as long as the individual remains an employee of SS Enterprises and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or record-keeping purposes. Data may be deleted upon written request, subject to applicable legal obligations.
This App is intended solely for adult employees of SS Enterprises and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age.
Employees may contact us to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data, subject to company HR policy and legal requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
